Hemp products containing up to 29% THCA can now legally be shipped to all EU countries — fully in line with EU law.
What makes this possible is the legal distinction between THCA and THC. While Delta-9 THC is classified as a controlled substance across the EU, its precursor THCA — as long as it contains less than 0.3% Delta-9 THC — is classified as industrial hemp.
That means it can be sold and shipped freely across the European Union.

Until now, shipping cannabis-like products across the EU was surrounded by uncertainty. Many vendors stayed away because of perceived legal risk.
“The law hasn’t changed — but awareness that THCA is legal has,” says Dr. Berger.
“More and more companies are realizing that as long as the Delta-9-THC level is compliant, there is no issue.”
